Welcome to South Portland - Cape Elizabeth Rotary!

We are a dedicated group of volunteers passionate about making a difference in our community and beyond. Our flagship annual events, the Christmas Tree Sale and SpringFest, are great examples of our commitment to giving back. They are all-volunteer Rotary events, and 100% of our net proceeds go to charitable causes, primarily here in our local communities.

The SP-CE Rotary's focus areas include youth services, safe and stable housing, behavioral health, food security, veterans, and community services. We are proud to be part of Rotary International, a global network with 1.2 million Rotarians and 35,000 clubs in over 160 countries. Together, we strive to create positive change both locally and globally.

SP-CE Rotary believes in balancing our volunteer work with fun and camaraderie. We share a strong work ethic and a desire to help others. Whether it's maintaining Bug Light, working on, or contributing to, projects at Ft. Williams, raising money from the tree sale, SpringFest, or or our sale of legendary(ish) fried dough at local events like Art in the Park and Family Fun Day, we strive to make our communities and the world better for all.

Established in 1962, the SP-CE Rotary Club has a rich history of service and impact. We welcome new members interested in friendship and in making a difference in the local community. If you share our values and want to get involved, email our membership liaison.

Our meetings provide an opportunity for networking, learning, and laughter. We currently meet using a hybrid format, allowing you to join us in person at Southern Maine Community College or via Zoom. Each meeting features a brief presentation by local, state, or national leaders, and we encourage active participation and dialogue. We start our meetings by checking in as a group, sharing laughs, and offering support when needed. Attending a meeting will give you a firsthand experience of our vibrant and welcoming community.
