 On August 20 we donated $10,000 to the town of Cape Elizabeth to build a shelter at Fort Williams.

On September 17, we held a "Ray Frost Night". Ray is 87 years old, an Honorary member of our club, and "Mr. Rotary" to us all. Ray has 31 years of perfect attendance during which time he has served as president of our club and secretary of our club and District 779. Ray presented various memorabilia to the club which he had accumulated.

On October 1, District Governor Bob Tonge, visited the club. This was a ladies' night.

The club voted unanimously to elect Harold Fralich, a past District Governor, a member of the Zone 12 nominating Committee.

On October 29, our speaker was First District Congressman David Emery.

On November 5, the club held its regular meeting at the Phyllis Schuyler Thaxter Theatre for supper and a behind the scenes look at the production "Oliver" which we sponsored on December 3. Profit was $140.00.
 
Our annual Senior citizens Christms Party was held on December 17 with 39 guests in attendance. Lyric Theatre provided the musical entertainment.

Profit on our Christmas Tree Sale was $8,500.

A painting by Art Hahn was presented to Sam Giftos for his many years of service to Rotary.

It was voted to name our new trailer the "Frost" Mobile.
