The Development of New Testing To Detect Tick Borne Infections

Andrew Knupp is Director of Global Serology Product Management at Idexx Labs.  His team developed an instant test for detection of tick borne diseases and mosquito borne diseases.  

Used in small animals, these tests are added elements to the "snap test" that detects heartworm and lyme disease.  Idexx provides accurate and reliable tests that can detect infection in minutes.

Andy, 52, has been with Idexx for over 18 years.  He is a graduate of Dickinson College and he holds an MBA from NYU's Stern School of Business.  Andy is married to a fellow Dickinsonian, lives in Cape Elizabeth, and has two daughters:  his eldest graduated this year from Holy Cross and his other daughter is a sophomore at UVM.  Andy's dog, Lucky, is a rescue hound dog. 

Andy is the son of club member Bob Knupp.
