Coffee, Donuts and Spring Cleanup at Bug Light Gardens!
Saturday, April 27, 8-10am Please join us for light garden work at the Rotary gardens at Bug Light. We'll provide coffee, donuts and a beautiful setting.
This is always a super pleasant way to spend a Saturday morning. Come spend some time with your fellow Rotarians and help maintain our beautiful and ecologically beneficial gardens. These gardens were designed and built by our Club and we are responsible for maintaining them.
No gardening experience necessary. Please bring yard/garden tools if you have them. More info below.
Our club designed and built these gardens in 2018 and 2019. The gardens are planted with a palette of native plants, chosen specifically for the challenging site conditions at Bug Light - drought, high winds and salt spray. They are designed to be climate resilient and have even survived saltwater flooding from winter storms. These native plants also provide food and shelter for native insects, pollinators and birds. As ecologically beneficial
No gardening experience necessary! It’s pleasant work in a beautiful setting with good people. Family and friends are welcome.
