2012-2013 Rotary Year Wrap-Up – Outgoing president Bob took this opportunity to thank
NUMEROUS people who have helped to make this a successful Rotary year. He also described
some of the accomplishments that he – and we – can be proud of over the past year:

some of the accomplishments that he – and we – can be proud of over the past year:
- Re-instituting Theater Night as a successful fundraiser
- Increasing the number of high school scholarships that we fund
- Laying the groundwork for the Spring Point Road Race as a new fundraiser
- Our role in funding plans for the Children’s Garden at Fort Williams
- Assistance to Veterans, through providing beds and travel vouchers
- Ongoing support of the South Portland Food Cupboard and the Soup Kitchen
- Support of local organizations such as Simple Gifts and Hassle to Tassel
- Public Works and Senior Citizens luncheons
- Hands-on help to individuals in the community
