ANNUAL CHRISTMAS TREE SALE

BEGINS NOV. 28 AND INCLUDES NEW TREE-PICK-UP OPTION

The South Portland-Cape Elizabeth Rotary Club will receive its first truckload of Christmas trees early on Friday, Nov. 28, and begin sales that same day at 9:00AM at Mill Creek Park in South Portland. This is the 41st consecutive year for our Club's major annual fundraiser.

A special feature of this year's sale will be a combined effort with the Cape Elizabeth Lions Club to offer an "after-season" tree pickup/disposal. Buyers can sign up for this service at the tree lot.

We've ordered 2000 trees this year. However, last year the same number of trees sold out well before Christmas, so we encourage people to visit early in order to have the best choice!

This year's tree sale chairman, Frank Butterworth, says, "This is what Rotary is all about. For 41 years this club's Rotarians have been providing the finest Christmas trees to our loyal customers. We all look forward to seeing our friends and neighbors, seeing the kids' excitement as they search for the "perfect" tree, and spreading the holiday spirit. Every penny raised is returned to the community in the form of scholarships, local improvement projects, and donations to needy charitable programs."
